Refund policy

At My Bridegroom, our bridal lehengas and other bridal/formal wear may be made-to-order and customized specifically according to each customer’s requirements. Because these products require significant time, materials, craftsmanship, and preparation, our return and refund policy is different from that of standard ready-made products.

1. Made-to-Order and Customized Products

Most bridal lehengas are made specifically for the customer and may require approximately 2–3 months or longer to complete, depending on the design, customization, embroidery, materials, and order requirements.

Once an order has been confirmed and production has started, we begin investing time, materials, labor, and other resources specifically for that customer’s order.

For this reason, made-to-order and customized products cannot be cancelled for a full refund once production has started.

2. Order Cancellation During Production

If a customer requests cancellation while their order is being prepared, the refund amount will depend on the stage of production at the time the cancellation request is received.Because we may already have incurred non-recoverable costs, the amount refundable will be calculated according to the work already completed and the costs already incurred for that particular order. The refundable amount may therefore be less than the amount originally paid.

Where cancellation is accepted after production has started, the maximum refund will generally be up to 50% of the amount paid, and the actual amount may be lower depending on the stage of production and the costs already incurred.

For example:

* If only initial design work has started, a greater portion of the eligible amount may be refundable.
* If design, fabric selection, embroidery, embellishment, or other major work has already been completed, the refundable amount may be reduced.
* If the design and major embellishment work have been completed and only stitching or finishing remains, the refundable amount may be substantially reduced because significant costs have already been incurred.
* If the product is substantially completed or ready for dispatch, no refund may be available for a customer-initiated cancellation, subject to applicable law.

The exact refund amount will be assessed based on the actual production stage and costs associated with the customer’s order.

3. Production Updates and Customer Approval

We aim to keep customers informed throughout the production process.

Depending on the order, we may provide customers with photos, videos, video calls, or other updates showing the progress of their lehenga from design and preparation through embroidery, stitching, finishing, and final presentation.

Before dispatch, we may share images or video of the completed product with the customer for confirmation and satisfaction.

Customers are encouraged to communicate any concerns or requested changes before the product is dispatched.

4. Returns After Delivery

Because our bridal lehengas are made-to-order and may be customized specifically for the customer, we generally do not accept returns or change-of-mind returns after the customer has received the product.

Customers should carefully review the design, measurements, customization details, and other order information during the production process and before dispatch.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If a customer receives an item that is materially damaged, defective, or substantially different from the agreed order due to an error by My Bridegroom, the customer should contact us as soon as possible after delivery.

Please provide:

* Order number
* Clear photographs of the issue
* Video of the package/product where appropriate
* A description of the problem

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a suitable resolution such as repair, alteration, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

6. Measurement and Customization Responsibility

For customized garments, customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and confirming the agreed design and customization details.

If a customer provides incorrect measurements or approves incorrect measurements/design details, My Bridegroom may not be responsible for resulting fitting or customization issues.

Where possible, we encourage customers to carefully review and confirm measurements and design details before production begins.

7. Shipping and Return Costs

If a return or corrective action is approved because the product was damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied due to an error by My Bridegroom, we will discuss the appropriate shipping arrangements with the customer.

For customer-requested changes, alterations, or issues arising from incorrect customer-provided measurements or approved specifications, any additional costs may be the customer’s responsibility.

9. Refund Processing

The time required for the funds to reach the customer may depend on the payment method and payment provider.
